Brookvale Arts District (BAD) is a pioneering creatives-led placemaking initiative now serving as a model for the NSW Government NEON Grid strategy and its associated UPTOWN precinct development program.

Opera to Punk - the Temple Sessions is a music series for broadcast, featuring episodes with performance, collaboration, mentorship and musical tributes.

Full Moon Hot Sun is developing a documentary series about the connections between music and surfing based primarily on the book Surf By Day Jam By Night by Australian bluesman and obsessive surfer Ash Grunwald.
John Meredith - Principal / Producer / Director
John is a film industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the Australian and international film and television industries. His career roles include Film Commissioner and LA Representative for Ausfilm (peak marketing body for the Australian film industry), Executive Liaison at Fox Studios Australia, Executive Producer and Head of Production at GMD/FILM.
During his time with Fox Studios Australia John played a key role in the establishment and operation of The Matrix production and while working with design, animation and VFX house GMD/FILM he worked with a team of producers and digital artists to create high-end design and VFX for major Australian and international productions, including Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings.
In 2014 John made a commitment to his long-held interest in documentary filmmaking and established Full Moon Hot Sun. While developing his own projects, he has also created short factual films, event-based films, profiles and other content for corporate clients including Citibank, Samsung, Hurley, Ivy League Records, Mushroom and Universal Music Group.
In 2016 his short documentary film Into the Maelstrom was invited to screen at the Sydney Tropfest film festival as one of sixteen finalist films.
John is also Co-Founder and Chairman at Brookvale Arts District (BAD) and since 2020 has been a driving force behind the vision and strategies positioning BAD to become a global leader as an integrated arts, industry and entertainment precinct.
